At Happy Student, our mission is simple: we’re here to make university life easier, happier, and a lot less stressful—for everyone. Whether it's helping students register with a GP, open a bank account, or settle into a new city, our free app offers clear, practical guidance right when it’s needed most. We believe that when students feel supported, they can thrive.

We imagine a world where every student, no matter where they’re from, feels confident and equipped to start their university journey. That’s why we’ve built Happy Student as a campus-wide companion—packed with localised, university-approved guidance that speaks directly to student needs. Our goal is to become the go-to support app for students across the UK and beyond.
Our Story
Happy Student was born from real experience. Our founder, Aram Tufan, came to the UK from Turkey to study at the University of Westminster. Like many international students, he faced challenges navigating unfamiliar systems and settling into life in a new country. Inspired to make it easier for others, he created the app during his undergraduate studies. Since then, we’ve grown into a dedicated team passionate about student wellbeing, won multiple awards, and launched across universities—starting with the one where it all began.
